Do I need to know how to pose?
Not at all. Every session is fully guided — from how you stand to the smallest details like where to place your hands or how to angle your face. The goal is to create images that feel natural, but still refined and intentional.
What should I wear?
Once your session is booked, I’ll guide you through outfit choices so everything feels cohesive and aligned with the final look.
In general:
- Neutral tones work best
- Simple, well-fitted pieces photograph beautifully
- Less is often more
- Subtle textures work better than bold patterns
Should I get my hair and makeup done?
It’s completely up to you, but professional hair and makeup can elevate the final result and help everything feel more polished. I’d recommend keeping makeup semi-natural unless you’d prefer for it to be the focus of the shoot. It’s often best to start minimal and add something later, like bold eyeliner or red lipstick.
What if I feel awkward in front of the camera?
Most clients feel this way at the start.
The session is fully guided, so you’re never left wondering what to do. Within a few minutes, most people naturally settle into it and begin to enjoy the process.
How do I choose my images?
After your session, you’ll receive a private online gallery with a curated selection of images.
From there, you can choose your included images, with the option to upgrade or add more if you wish.
When will I receive my photos?
Within 48 hours of your session, you’ll receive a small preview of 2 fully edited images, along with your private gallery.
The gallery contains a curated selection of lightly edited images to give you a cohesive preview of the shoot. From there, you’ll select your final images.
Once your selections are made, each chosen image is professionally retouched to match the final editorial style.
Your completed images are delivered within 10 days of your selection.
How does payment work?
A 40% booking fee is required to secure your session.
The remaining balance is due 48 hours before your shoot.
If you prefer to pay in cash, the final balance can be settled on the day of your session.
Can I reschedule my session?
Yes, sessions can be rescheduled with at least 72 hours’ notice.

Where does the shoot take place?
All sessions take place in my studio in central Liverpool, a 10min walk from Liverpool Central train station.

Can I buy more images?
Yes, additional images and full gallery upgrades are available after viewing your gallery.
Who are these sessions for?
These sessions are designed for women who want clean, polished, editorial-style images, whether for social media, branding or simply to have a refined set of portraits.
Can I bring someone with me?
Sessions are designed to be a private, one-to-one experience, allowing you to fully relax into the process without distractions. If you feel you would benefit from having someone there for support, you’re welcome to bring one person, provided they are over 18. Please note, this needs to be arranged in advance.
